Catherine Cruz, LAC
I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC), and I am fully bilingual (English and Spanish). I graduated from John Brown University with a Master’s of Science in Counseling. I work with children and adult individuals as well as families. I have experience working in inpatient crisis settings as well as outpatient settings, both online and in person. I help clients process and overcome their trauma as well as substance use, self-harm, suicidal, and homicidal ideations. I am EMDR trained (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), a technique which helps clients reprocess and heal from trauma or other distressing experiences in a way that is safe and healthy. I also enjoying doing sandtray play therapy with children or adults, as this is another non-verbal way to process and express emotions and find healing. My goal is to collaborate with clients and help them become the best version of themselves as they find safety and connection in relationships.
